Sherman Oaks Library & Gardens

I've made a blogpost about Corona del mar before, and briefly mentioned that it's one of my favourite beaches in LA, and now last time I was here it got another plus! It has first and foremost an amazing beach, that usually isn't too crowded. It also has such a nice town around it with gorgeous houses and it also has probably one of the most beautiful malls I've ever been to just like a 5-10min drive or like a 30minute walk away from the beach.
And only about 10minutes from the beach they have a Starbucks, and just a street away from there Sherman Oaks library garden is located. I've been wanting to go there so many times before but it has always been closed, but this time I just barely made it in! It costs 5$ but we got there just 25 minutes before they were closing so we got in for free, whoopwhoop! It's definitely worth 5$ though, no doubt, it is so so so pretty and it smells amazing!

On Top Of The Ritz Hotel

Some crazy friends & myself decided to get on a mission to get on top of the Ritz hotel. A few of them did it last year and decided to try again. Last year they just asked a worker for a key and got to go to the top just to see it, but this year the staff wouldn't let us. But, Stina asked a man that was staying there if we could borrow his and believe it or not, he allowed us too. So funny and so much fun! 

A bit(actually let's be honest, a lot) crappy photos but honestly the view is just amazing up there!! It was such a funny experience. 

Mountain Adventures

On our day off this week my roommates and I decided to go on an adventure in the mountains. We drove around up against Big bear and stopped at literally so many places cause it was just so darn beautiful. We got to Big bear lake and drove around it until we came to this little Discover place where we looked up a hike. It had gotten pretty late at that point so we only hiked for about 3 hours. It was GORGEOUS up there. The air was perfect and everything was so quiet and refreshing and peaceful, I loved it! And also, we had Chickfila twice that day. It was just a grand day people.

This was my favourite spot on the hike! Sat down for quite a bit just to reflect and think. I almost forget how much I truly miss nature & the quitness of it until I actually experience it again. 

Places like this makes me in such awe over Gods creation. So thought I'd just end with this little thought that I had during this day. 

If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, 'move from here to there', and it would move. Nothing would be impossible." ~ Matthew 17:20

This kind of strong, courageous & bold faith + full trust in Him = peace.  

Family Visiting

My parents, my sister & three friends came and to visit me! It was so so good to see them again, and even though it's not long left here it was hard to say goodbye. We went around sightseeing quite a bit since it was my parents and Chelseas first time in LA! We went to Santa Monica, Hollywood, Corona del mar, Beverly Hills, Echo parks, the Americana, the Observatory, even minigolfing, and then of course to all the great coffee places and food places! Basically all tourist stuff as well as my fave places! I got to introduce them to a bunch of my friends and it was quite a few reunions having Sisela, Sophie & Lulu back! And oh it was so great to have them back, it felt just like last year!! Overall just a lovely two weeks having them here!

My friend Paola is a very good, creative & talented photographer and asked to take pictures of my roommate Kristy, so Kristy made me tag along, so I figured I should share them here. It was a bit out of my comfortzone but also very fun to be a part of!
